A really great for anyone trying to break the habit!!

I have bitten my nails ever since I can remember. They look and feel horrid, I started to become really embarrassed to show them and if anyone pointed them out I'd get very self conscious. I used to literally bite my nails down so much they hurt and often bleed, I have no idea what started it or why I did it, it's just a horrible, horrible habit I had.

My neighbour who does my hair saw my nails one day and commented on them once, asking why my I had never thought to put on some kind of soap or formula to make me stop, she herself had applied this Nibble No More to her sons nails who was only 7 and had got him to stop. So I asked her if she could put some on for me as I was 17 years old and the state of nails was appalling for a teenage girl.

She applied one thin layer to each of my miniscule nails. Knowing it was there I made more of an effort to keep my fingers away from my mouth but eventually I did forgot and I ended up chewing them. Instantly I was repulsed by the taste, the polish contains cactus extract and reminded me of tequila but with a stronger and even more unpleasant taste, the taste lingers in your mouth for a minute or so afterwards too.

I could taste the stuff on my nails for up to a week, which was good as I would have forgotten to apply another coat and started biting them again. Weirdly I didn't even need another coat after this week as my nails had started growing properly and within about 3-4months I was really happy with them!

I did start biting them again when I got stressed over Christmas and again at exam time so I've figured I did it mostly because I was stressed or anxious but applying a quick layer of Nibble No More sorted me right out again. I apply some before hand if I know I'm going to have a stressful week of exams.

The only bad points about this product are that anything you eat with your fingers you will get a slight taste of the horrible stuff in your mouth, this only lasts for the first days of application though. It's also fairly more expensive than brands own products but I find they only last for a day or two so this stuff is much better as it lasts longer on the nails and the actual amount will last longer with less applications making the money spent worthwhile.

I definitely recommend this product to anyone having trouble with breaking the nail biting habit and definitely to parents for their kids because you don't have to remember to apply the product much and the taste is so disgusting it'll put off even the most stubborn of kids.
