Kiss Me Mascara is well presented in a deep red and silver tube, and is a product of Kiss Me Cosmetics.
It comes in six shades, black, dark brown, medium brown, dark blue, dark purple and dark green.
It has been clinically tested and is fine for contact lens wearers to use.
A very different idea altogether and I really wanted to try it !
The instructions tell me that once I have applied the mascara it will form `tubes` over my lashes making them look long and feel strong.
It retails at around £15 and can be purchased at The House of fraser ,but I bought mine from E Bay.
The application was easy, the mascara looked good,I used the Dark Brown shade to match my eye colour.
Kiss me assured me that once the mascara had dried it would be smudge free, waterproof and clump free, nor would it flake.
Well if it passed all of those tests it would be a miracle !
The mascara dried and it looked fine,my lashes looked pretty long and strong too.
The day went by and the mascara passed all of the tests, nothing had moved since I applied it that morning.
So now I needed to remove it,the instructions were to use warm water and gentle pressure to remove the `tubes` that covered my lashes.
So I soaked my lashes and started to remove it,it came off easily enough, but there sitting in my hand were a couple of eyelashes!
Stroking the `tubes` off wasn't too pleasant.
Yes the mascara came off well enough, but it was a messy procedure and I lost at least three of my eyelashes !
The mascara certainly added length and thickness and it stayed put all day.
It more or less did what it said it was going to do,but the ending wasn't quite what I had in mind !
But apart from those missing three eyelashes, the mascara is a great product !
This Kiss Me mascara form tubes around the eyelashes, so it comes off with water, and does not smudge or clog or run.
Now come on - nearly every mascara you buy will say that it doesnt clog, or smudge, or run but this one realld doesnt. As someone who has very watery eyes that always leaves even waterproof formulations halfway down my cheek, I am very very impressed by Kiss Me's lasting power.
On the down side, it is quite an expensive mascara considering the cheap packaging, and small amount (around £20). It also adds a nice gloss and some definition but it lacks 'oomph' of other mascaras - it neither lengthens much, or thickens.
A good alternative (if you can find it) is Kanebo's 38 Degree Mascara which also forms rings around the eyelashes, but in my opinion, gives more length and definition.
This has got to be the best mascara ever made! It is like no other mascara and it does exactly what it says it does. It doesn?t clump your eye lashes up, or smudge, infact it lasts for as long as you want it to last for!!!!! I first discovered Kiss Me Mascara when I visited the Wedding Show at the NEC. Ariane Poole (makeup artist) was applying makeup to this lady she had picked out of the audience. She said she was using Kiss Me Mascara, which like a lot of people I?d never heard of. She told us that most celebrities use it because you can leave it on all day and all night and it looks just as good as it did when you first applied it. I thought this was too good to be true. A stall was selling it at the wedding show called Pure Company who are just one of the companies which sell it. As a one off offer they were selling their mascara for £10.00 but it normally retails at £18.00. They were also selling Grand Lash Primer which is what you apply before mascara which lengthens your lashes and Kiss Me Eyeliner which works in a similar way to the mascara. If you want to visit their website it is www.purecompany.co.uk The best thing is that Kiss Me Mascara's unique formulation forms tiny water resistant tubes around your lashes, rather than painting them like conventional mascaras. The tubes add both volume and length to create a radiant natural look. Your eyelashes look glossy and the mascara glides on lovely unlike most mascara that clump really easily. Once set, Kiss Me Mascara binds to the lash and will not run or smudge even if you rub your eyes, yet it doesn't require make up remover when you take it off. All that's needed is plenty of water and gentle pressure and the tubes simply slide off the lashes effortlessly. You don't need to use make up remover. You might feel like your eyelashes are falling out but trust me they?re not! I was so excited to see that when removing it I had bright eyes and no dark
circles from where other mascara would be hard to remove. The mascara comes in 5 great colours, Black, Blue, Brown, Brown/Black and Purple, I?ve heard that many people find that it doesn?t give much curl to the eyelashes but not many types of mascara do. So when I visited pure company stall at the wedding show, they were selling ?Curl? eyelash curlers by Blinc which heat up in seconds. These can also be purchased on the pure company website. These teamed with Kiss Me Mascara give me the fluttery lashes I always dreamed of!!
I'd always steered clear of mascara cos of all the gunginess and risk of smearing. Then I learnt a few tricks with an eyelash comb (ruby and millie do a great one) and that made it a lot more user friendly. But *THEN* I got some Kiss Me mascara. I sometimes wear contact lenses and like the idea that it doesn't flake. I also sometimes cry (so sue me) and live in a temperate climate and very much see the advantages of water proof mascara. I also am a face-washer-in-warm-water and don't like to fuss about with cotton wool and cleanser ... *SO*, there's a lot of advantages with Kiss Me. Curling-wise, you can't so easily use a curler afterwards, but you can beforehand. I don't actually bother, though. There's no need for the eyelash comb, in fact you can't really even do another layer once the 'tubes' have set, but it doesn't matter! Although it does need to be applied fairly swiftly, it's just a case of a jiggling at the roots and ziggy zaggy motion towards the tips, a final bit of touching up on small lashes with the brush held vertically et voila! One can then forget about one's mascara for the entire day (I say!). I've even successfully napped, blubbed and been a-walking in the rain without any disaster in the eye area. When I finally reached the end of my tube, I hesitated about spending another £15, but then I realised that any other half decent mascara (like Lancome definicils) was going to cost as much and would also require investment in cotton wool and eye makeup removing stuff. It looks good and you don't need to think about it - or even carry it around with you cos it only needs one application in the morning. PS I got mine from the Pout counter at Harvey Nicks. PPS If there are no capital letters in this review it is *not* because I cannot use the shift key - something went funny with the scripting for this site.
I have been using Kiss Me Mascara for over a year now. The actual packaging isn't fantastic for the price (I buy it at £15) but the actual brush is nice and very easy to use. This mascara goes on like any normal mascara (you won't actaully see any "tubes" when you are applying it) and definitely does not clump. Your eye lashes look "glossy" instead of matt like most other mascaras. This mascara does not smudge at all, it can't because it dries completely in about a minute.... which means you'll never get panda eyes or "running". At the end of the day when you want to take it off, just soak a cotton pad in tepid water, hold it onto your eye lashes, and just slide the mascara off! That is when you see the "tubes" - don't worry though, it may look like your eye lashes are coming off, but they aren't! This mascara is not waterproof! A bit of rain will have no effect, but if you go swimming, you will have "tubes" all over your face. If you do cry with it on, one or two "tubes" may end up on your cheeks - esp if you rub your eyes. You can sleep with it on and you still won't get panda eyes, but I wouldn't recommend it as you might lose a few lashes. I have found the life span to be about 2-3 months. The masacara is not very good once it starts to dry out, but you do get a lot of use before it starts to do that. It doesn't give any volume (which is about the only down side), nor does it give curl - but I think most "curling" mascaras don't work anyway - so just use eye lash curlers and Kiss Me Mascara will hold the curl all day. One of the best things about this mascara - if you get it on your skin (DO NOT rub!!) let it dry and then you can practically just peel it off your face! Or just scratch off very lightly once it is definitely dry. If ever a volumising version of this mascara comes out, it will be
the best mascara in the world!!
I love this mascara! It is really great. I hardly ever used mascara becuase I never found one that did not smudge, stain ot clump. I always rub my eyes and forget that I have eye make up on so you can imagine the effect. Anyway, this mascara is a god send. It is very easy to use and comes in a variety of colours. I am using the black one. It coats your eyelashes in little tube kind things and does not smudge at all. Not even when you cry (tested!) or rub your eyes. It is also very easy to take off. A bit of warm water and voila! So you do not need to buy a special eye make up remover. I wear contact lenses and have encountered no problems either. The only downside is that it does not give loads of volume or curl. I do not need more volume but I do like them with a bit of curl and so use an eyelash curler. This seems to do the trick. For me though it works. So if you, like me, need something that won't budge this is for you. If, on the other hand, you want volume and definition it might not be so good.
i heard alot of greate things about this product so i thought i would try it out be sure before you buy it it is $20.00 and no money back,i did not like the product and i am out of $40.00 and mascara i do not like it does not thicken your lashes and it does smear some after awhile.the colors are great i have long lashes but i need them to be thicker delivery was quick with no problems i also wrote a review on there web site telling them how i felt good luck finding a mascara you love it because we are all worth it thank you veianna.
Kiss Me is not an oil based paint like most mascaras / It forms tiny tubes around your lashes that cannot clump; flake; run or smudge when set /
