L'Oréal Blush Delicieux
Advantages: not too pricey, nice colour, nice smell, mirror, quality brush
Disadvantages: none for me
Recently I have acquired a need to use a blush here and there and although for my needs I usually pick up the cheapest sore brands I do here and there treat myself with something a bit more pricey... I never was to keen on spending too much on make up so a blush that goes at £4.49 on Amazon.co.uk at the time of writing and a bit more at time of writing was still acceptable.
I bought the Delicious rosewood shade last summer and am using it still (you can see how often I use this, although I do use the cheaper ones too). The colour is really great, it is a subtle light red (maybe more orange) and pink mixture the last colour being the main one.
It comes in a box that has, besides the blush, a brush and a continent mirror. This is a really good move from L'Oreal since I always forget my mirror at home and this one serves me well.
The box is very sturdy and safe, it won't pop open by itself in your purse. The brush is very soft and effective, it does a great job at applying the blush, it is not one of the "cheap" ones. The mirror is of good quality too, it won't distort your face, you see it clearly as it is, no magnification.
It is easy to apply, I am not a "pro" when it comes to make up but I have to say I did not have any problems using this one, it spreads evenly and the colour is very subtle. It is durable too, if I apply it in the morning my cheeks will have a rosy look on them even in the afternoon. The colour blends with your natural colour (or foundation) on the edges so it does have a natural look.
The blush also has a subtle pleasant smell to it and after a year the scent is still present.
As an amateur make up user I must say I am really satisfied with this one and will be buying something similar in the future, true my aim might be a more "mature" brownish shade. I have seen they have a decent selection of these in the shops (or at least similar from this brand) plus they are keen on releasing the "special edition ones" so I sure will be grabbing one in the near future. I can only compare it to the cheap ones though...
Summary: Good blush for a regular make up user
