      A very nice concealer

I like Loreal products, especially the true match range. I have in fact tried the true match foundation before and really liked it. I actually bought this concealer out of necessity. I was on my way to work and had quickly slapped on my make up that morning as I didn't want to get late. I was looking my worse, so I popped into superdrugs and bought this concealer so I could use it under my eyes once I had got to work. A great way to test how good a product is when you really are in need of it :)

The true match concealer is priced at £6.99 for 5ml. It is reasonably priced as concealers tend to last a long time if used sparingly. I bought the shade sable sand. The glass tube is see through so you can see the exact colour of the concealer. I wasn't too worried if I had got the wrong shade as technically it should then work its magic and match my skin. The concealer has a silver lid, which doubles as a brush applicator.

I dotted the concealer under my eyes and patted. The concealer is a nice consistency and blended very well into my skin. It feels like a foundation, but you do notice it provides much more coverage. The concealer hid my dark circles and brightened the area underneath my eyes. I have tried more expensive concealers and I would say this one works just as well. Nowadays I use this concealer to cover spots and any other imperfections. I also use the concealer on my eyelids where it really does provide a very natural looking shade. I use it before applying liquid eyeliner to prevent directly applying the liquid onto the skin. I have heard that it can darken the eyelids and that concealer should always be used.

I really like this concealer and I will be buying it again. However this time I probably would try a shade darker as the concealer seems to be slightly lighter than my foundation(it happens when you use different brands!) There really are no disadvantages to this product and it performs very well.

A nice little addition to the make up bag

This is a review of L'oreal's tru match concealer. I just did a concealer review the one before last on a pencil but this one's a liquid and brush, for more 'heavy duty' jobs!

The colour of this concealer is warm, light- medium which sounds like a one product for all really! It is a slightly orangy colour which sounds bad but it's OK when you get it on your face, honest!

The product comes in a clear tube so you can see the colour of the concealer and the screw top lid has a brush on the end as you can see in the picture. It's a nice looking tube with a silver lid and looks quite expensive.

The consistency of the foundation is very much similar to a foundation, perhaps a little thicker. On the tube it says it is 'super blendable' which I would agree with, using a sponge it is good for any problem areas or break outs.

I like L'oreal foundations anyway so was pretty confident that I would like this product. As I mentioned earlier, this is more a concealer I'd use for major problems as the coverage is excellent. I would not particularly use it as a way of hiding tired eyes, the review of the NYC pencil earlier is a better concealer for this use. I would use it to cover redness or spots and it's nice and portable without any danger of exploding its contents in your bag. The brush style applicator is convenient but I would still go on to blend with a sponge.

Luckily I spotted this product in Poundland and decided to try it and I am pleased that I did. For a pound it is an excellent liquid concealer and a good brand too. I would buy another to keep if I see them next time I'm in the store.

      Watch out
As this product is so nice and blendable you have to watch out that you don't get carried away and start using it as a foundation as the tube is only small (around 15ml but it doesn't say) it is tempting to blend away with it!

I am pleased with this concealer and it has proved useful to tackle the occasional breakout. It's a good colour for my skin and works well with foundation. I would reccomend this product to a friend.
