I bought this compact powder from aldi along with the foundation, mascara, etc. At around £2.50 for each item i believe the lacura range to be one of the cheapest around. The powder stocks only have a limited range of colours, yet these colours tend to suit most colours and also most skin types. The main things i notifced about the powder were firstly the applicator, the powder itself is great but the applicator is useless if you use the provided sponge/pad it holds to much powder, giving an uneven colour and 'patchy' effect. For people who have already invested in a good set off brushes this wont be such an issue, even if you had to go out and buy a good ... Read the complete review

A lot of the makeup I buy is from the Lacura range, and the compact is one of essentials. Costing at around £2.50, it is one of the cheapest compacts on the market, and in my opinion, is worth it's weight. The packaging is hardwearing and quite small, fitting nicely in the palm of your hand and is quite thin, so doesn't take to much room in your makeup bag. It's design is simple and attractive, with a slightly reflective surface. Inside, there is a handy mirror set into the lid, and a soft sponge on top of the powder itself. There isn't a barrier between them, so the mirror can get covered in powder, but it is easy to wipe off and doesn't leave smears. ... Read the complete review
