Lancome Panoramic is a mascara made by the company Lancome and retails at around £23 for 6.5ml (a large mascara size). I had a trial version of this (2ml) in a free gift pack that I received from Lancome so was able to try it before I decided whether or not to buy the large size.
==Did it live up to it's promise?==
In a word...NO! The mascara wand is straight which some people prefer but I like big, thick mascara brushes as I find they give more volume to the lashes, also I prefer them slightly curved for better application. If you like straight brushes perhaps this is the mascara for you. As with all Lancome mascaras (see other reviews) I find their mascara quite gooey and potentially clumpy if you don't apply it carefully, this is particularly true when the mascara is new. I find once you've had it open for a couple of weeks and it dries out slightly, it tends to be less clumpy. The website gives you advice on how to apply this mascara and I would say that it does take a bit of practice with Lancome's mascaras to get the technique right. I curl my lashes before I put mascara on them which is a lucky thing as this provides zero curl at all, not that it claims to but it definitely keeps poker straight lashes, poker straight! I zig-zag the mascara on to try and keep the lashes separate but inevitably they do start to clump up. The lashes do not feel like they have more volume, they just feel as though they are stuck together and even the hassle of getting an eyelash comb out to try and save the day doesn't work.
I would say that this was a bog-standard and very basic mascara which I would not recommend nor would I buy again. At £23 it is severely overpriced. If it was £3 and you wanted a basic starter mascara it might just pass my acceptibility test, but as it is £23 and has various claims, I can't endorse it at all. I strongly recommend you stay away from this mascara. Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes is my favourite, it does take a bit of getting used to but does actually do what it says it will do. I feel disappointed in the Lancome Panorama and I'm glad I didn't part with my hard earned cash for it. Save your money!
Lashes look longer, seperated and beautifully black. They also appear fuller and volumised. There are no clumps in the lashes and each lash is seperated. The brush is slightly curved so a single sweep over the lashes does the job meaning less is used allowing the product to last longer and at £15 you want it to last. There's no clumps on the brush either, it very smoothly pulls out of the tube.
The tube has a nice design, slightly curved like the brush which definitely represents how the lashes look, they curve upwards and the look is dramatic. The more you apply the more dramatic your eyes look. For a more natural look you just need a single sweep over the lashes, for a dramatised look for a night out apply an extra sweep or two.
This product can be hard to remove as it attaches itself to the lashes, even when you think you've got it all off you may wake up the next morning with panda eyes. Lancome do a good eye make-up remover which aso removes waterproof mascara, this just about gets off all your mascara but you still may have some remaining on your lashes.
The downfall I find, is that when it starts running out the mascara clogs more on the brush which gives more clumps to the application and for the money you spend you want to use every drop but towards the end you might find yourself chucking it out early. It's slightly on the expensive side and Rimmel now have one (forgot it's name but it's in a bright purple tube) which is incredibly similiar and is half the price.

I love this mascara because it does not clump and it manages to define and seperate eyelashes in one coat or two. It gives good volume to the lashes and extends and curls them beautifully. I have never experienced any running that i sometimes get with other mascaras and it can be easily removed. I would buy this product again and recommend it go on put some on and gaze adoringly at your lashes in the mirror.
I have been using this mascara for about a month now. That is when I can be bothered with the time and effort involved in its application... I have relitively short, fine lashes, and am forever on the lookout for something to fool people into thinking otherwise. So naturally when someone in a shop suggested this product to me I had to give it a go. The black looked incrediably dark and a little too striking for everyday wear, so I opted for the brown. The packaging is good and the shape of the bottle is also a clever design for application, as its slightly curved edges prevent the brush from slipping out of your hadn - do other people have this problem?? However, on to the actual product itself. Well, you'll only need a couple of coats of this mascara, as it does exactly what it says it does ans definatly pumps up the volume and thickness of your lashes. However, there is a down side to this, it does have a tendency to go rather clumpy on application, so I would suggest that declumping straight after application is the only option. Not something that we all have time for in the mornings. This can be a right pain, as you can end up loosing lashes, so it is probably best to invest in a brush...or so I keep telling myself. Once on, the mascara stays well, and I have had no problems with it flaking or smearing under my eyes. Removal can be a bit messy though, and I've ruined a coule of towels in the process as it behaves a little like water proof mascara.
