Advantages: It's Chanel!!, Outer tin is classic.

Disadvantages: Chalky product texture, Awkward brushes, Not easily blendable in well

Oohh.. the excitement of getting this was immense. Opened it up to find some gorgeous looking little tubes of colour sitting neatly inside, accompanied by two little 'Chanel' embossed brushes, and a white mixing well.

Of course, experimentation was required on sight. I opened the Gloss Cristalle tube and squeezed a tiny bit out, then added some of the Rose, mixed them, applied the result to my lips and... eww. Like putting heavy talcum powder on 'em. I decided to give it another chance, experimented around for a while, and eventually came to the conclusion the product itself was dissapointing. Chalky texture. Not as easily blendable as they suppose. The brushes are at an awkward angle for mixing in the well. But the packaging was still ultra-cool in the way that only Chanel makeup can be.

Upon closer examination, the white well couldn't be removed. And the insert holding the tubes and well inside the classy black metal box was.. plastic?

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE chanel, absolutely and truely. My face is coppyright Chanel Inc. Paris. This just isn't one of their best products in my opinion. I have their new 2003 Velours de Chanel palette, and that has seen much use. The Les Gouaches de Chanel, unfortunately, was re-sold on ebay... Not what I'm used to from Chanel.
