British summer can is warm and humid. It has that right annoying quality where it makes you feel stick and all the make-up simply melts away from your face within a short time. Even I the one with dry skin gets affected. My problem is that I apply high sun protection factor face cream on to keep the sun rays away. Now this type of sun screen is very greasy and generally does not penetrate my skin, not even my dry one.

Applying make up in those conditions can be trick. On the plus side the mineral powder foundation keeps it a bit longer but not long enough and on special occasion I need my makeup to sit nicely on my face.
So I gave a try to Lily Lolo Flawless Matte finishing powder and I must say is the best thing to keep your makeup in place without it melting away in the heat. It only contains Kaolin and Mica as ingredients. I was expecting that this might clog my pores but it never happened.
Though I won't be needing this powder all the time is a good thing to have it around, just in case one of those high temperature days come by and I must attend an event where I need my make-up to be impeccable.
