I purchased this Lily Lolo blusher about a year ago from the Lily Lolo website, for around 7 pounds. The website was very easy to use and has great colour charts along with written descriptions of colours, so you don't feel like you're purchasing a product blind. If you don't want to take a chance, you can also order small sample pots from the website for a nominal fee, to help you decide.
The blusher comes in a clear 3.5g pot with an embossed lid on which is written "Lily Lolo"in swirling italic script. The overall effect is young and girly but quite elegant at the same time, it looks nice in my makeup bag!
The blusher contains natural minerals- mica and titanium dioxide in different colours- and that's it- no preservatives or paraffin or any other extras, so it's great for sensitive skin. Bearing that in mind, I was surprised at how clear and multifaceted the colour was, it's quite a sophisticated shimmery pink with a hint of bronze, which means that it goes with just about any skin tone. It's the perfect mix of not too pink and not too bronze, I can wear it in the winter with deeper pink lipsticks etc. and also in the summer with more bronzy shades and it goes perfectly with both, so it's really handy. I don't think it goes that well with red/ purple shades personally, but apart from that it's a good allrounder.
My only gripe with this product is the pot- it's supposed to have a sieve at the top to stop all the product coming out at once, but in practise if you turn the pot upside down once you're done for and all the product comes to the top of the sieve and none is left in the pot...and it won't go back! This means that every time I use it I get too much on my brush and I have to shake half of it off, which all takes time I don't have in the morning.
Apart from this I love this product, I like to think I'm using something more natural on my skin, the colour lasts all day and the pot lasts forever!
