Advantages: Really works

Disadvantages: Can be an acquired taste

I discovered this wonderful product many years ago... For a while it looked as though the company had stopped making it but luckily it's back again because I just don't know what I would do without it. After applying your lipstick you just blot it, then apply the lipcote all over with the brush as if you were painting your nails... Easy as that...

There have been many lipsticks over the years that have boasted that they stay on all day through thick and thin. Well, in my experience that's just not so. I've tried the make-up artists' tricks of blotting and powdering, but to no avail.

Then I found Lip cote. the taste takes a little getting used to - and it can tingle a bit - but it really does work with most lipsticks. Occasionally I have trouble with the darker ones if my lips are a little dry. I get uneven colouring. As long as you remember to wipe the brush applicator before you return it to the bottle, it will last ages.
