Advantages: Stays put for a long time, lives up to its promise.

Disadvantages: No good with the glossy stuff.

Lipcote must be the saviour of most women in a rush who need their lipstick to stay in place and not have to retouch it every few hours. I have used it for 15 years now and have never found another lipstay product to compete with it. Others tend to be too drying, too sticky or just no good at doing what they’re supposed too. It is the ONE thing I must have and I will spend hours going in search of it if my usual stockist is out. It is about £2.99, but I find it lasts about 6 weeks, and that’s using it every day. The only problem is that you can’t use it with the new glossy lipsticks, but as I don’t use them anyway, it suits me just fine.
