This foundation brush has become another indispensable item in my make-up bag - I can't believe how I ever managed without it!

I had always been a fan of applying my foundation with a sponge. However, one day at the MAC counter when I was shopping for a new foundation, I was recommended the brush by one of the sales assistants. At first I was skeptical, feeling that a sponge would surely be just as efficient, but I now know better. This brush has revolutionized the way I apply my foundation. I never have to worry about getting make-up lines or feeling that my foundation isn't well blended.

Although it does take some getting used to, and at first seems a bit bizarre (like you're painting on your make-up!), once you've gotten used to it you will never go back. It gives excellent coverage and a great, natural and flawless finish - it's basically hard to make mistakes with this brush! The synthetic brush hairs are easy to clean - you can buy brush cleaner from most cosmetic stores, or even just use some warm water and a little bit of soap.

I have now had the MAC 190 brush with about a year and a half and it works just as well as the first day I bought it. It's definitely an investment item for your make-up bag, and once you try it, you'll never go back.
