I bought some of this MAC blot powder because I found that the face powder I had at the time (an Estee Lauder loose powder) was too light for my skin tone. Since my powder at the time was a loose powder, it was just way too clumsy and bulky to take in my purse and apply or touch up on the go.

As I'd already bought some MAC blushes, eye shadow and lipsticks, I knew the quality would be good so I just had to try out some of their face make up and see if that works just as well as their other stuff. I also heard that if you recycle 6 of your MAC cases, you get to choose a free lipstick.

I was also quite pleased with the overall price of MAC products. Whilst Estee Lauder and Dior were quite expensive, I found that, whilst not being cheap, MAC products were priced more reasonably.

I liked that this face powder came in a pressed form, housed in a compact with a sponge applicator. The texture of the powder was fine and not too chalky, so it looked very natural and didn't feel cakey or heavy at all. The colour range was ideal for me, as they catered to warm, as well as cool skin tones. I found the perfect shade, which was a medium/dark cool tone.

I highly recommend this face powder, as the texture and application of it is lovely, it comes in a handy pressed form inside a mirrored compact and won't set you back too much as it's about £14.00 and has lasted me about a year of practically every day use.

Summary: this is good for girls on the go
