MAC Brush Cleanser

Description: Brushes / Clean, disinfect and condition your makeup brushes so that they will last longer.

Newest Review: ... eye shwadow brushes (especially if you have been using a dark colour and want to use a light one with the same brush) but ... more

... also leaves the brushes as soft and clean as the day they were purchased. The only thing that i dont like with this is the bottle! You have very little control of how much you get out and when you pour it it leaks everywhere, would be so much better if it had a spray nozzle, So i would reccomend buying a small spray bottle and pouring it in.This product can be purchased either over the counter (house of fraiser or selfridges) or off the MAC website. I pay £8 for 233ml of the MAC website whick to me is well worth it....more

Premium Review MAC Brush Cleanser: Condition your brushes! (356 words)

I use MAC cosmetic brushes to apply my Fluidline eyeliner and also my concealor so I decided to also purchase the Brush Cleanser. Lots of people say that good old soap and water is perfectly sufficient, but the brushes are so pricey and the cleanser is relatively so cheap (and you get a huge bottle) that I decided not to risk ruining them and just bit the bullet and bought the cleanser. It cost £7.83 from the MAC counter in Fenwick, and that was for a 233ml bottle which will last ages as you use a tiny amount each time. You use it by soaking a cotton wool pad with it and wiping the brush bristles, which you should do every couple of days, or soaking in water ...  Read the complete review

Wether you are planning on having a full collection of makeup brushes or only a few, a good cleanser is an essential. Looked after and cleaned correctly many good quality brushes can last years and years and since most of my brushes are made by MAC Cosmetics, naturally I choose their Brush Cleanser too. MAC's Brush Cleanser cleans and sanitizes at the same time and retails at just under £7.50 per 235ml. You only need a tiny amount for each brush so it's great value too. It is packaged in a tall, clear plastic bottle with a black lid that pops open to release a small amount of the fluid inside. The liquid itself is pale pink in colour and has a feint alcohol ...  Read the complete review

MAC brush cleanser is available from MAC stores and online at maccosmetics.co.uk for £7.34. It comes in a large plastic bottle of 233ml or 7.0fl oz. The MAC website says that "This one product will clean, disinfect and condition the brush fibres so that brushes will last longer. It is convenient to use and is specifically designed to extend the life of high quality brushes. Brush Cleanser leaves your brushes smelling fresh and clean and helps shorten their drying time." The large bottle is made of see through plastic with a pink coloured liquid inside. There's a black cap that you flip open and squeeze a little of the cleanser onto your brush. You ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Highly Effective Brush Cleanser (213 words)

A thorough brush cleanser is essential for maintaining the longevity, effectiveness, and hygiene of your makeup brushes. Many people who complain about certain makeup products "breaking them out" are actually having negative reactions to poor makeup sanitary practices. This particular brush cleanser is versatile because it can be used for spot- or deep-cleaning. Every evening, spot cleaning can remove the dark makeup from eye-shadow brushes, in particular, to prevent color transfer upon next use. Simply drip some cleanser onto a small area of a hand towel and wipe the brush back and forth to spot-cleanse. All brushes should be deep-cleaned every couple of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review MAC Brush Cleanser: Cleans even the most vivid of colours (323 words)

MAC Brush Cleanser - Second to None! I have been using MAC for some 6-7 years now and I am totally 110% addicted. The extensive choice of make up, the colours available, the different products and the quality are all so high and I really cannot rate the range high enough. The brush cleaner is a prime example of this! It may seem to be quite costly at £7.83. However as with most MAC products, it quite honestly does last for ages! I have quite a range of MAC brushes, which I also rate really highly, but this cleanser can remove even the darkest of pigments leaving not a trace behind. There are a range of ways in which it can be ...  Read the complete review
