MAC brush cleanser is available from MAC stores and online at maccosmetics.co.uk for £7.34. It comes in a large plastic bottle of 233ml or 7.0fl oz.
The MAC website says that "This one product will clean, disinfect and condition the brush fibres so that brushes will last longer. It is convenient to use and is specifically designed to extend the life of high quality brushes. Brush Cleanser leaves your brushes smelling fresh and clean and helps shorten their drying time."
The large bottle is made of see through plastic with a pink coloured liquid inside. There's a black cap that you flip open and squeeze a little of the cleanser onto your brush. You then leave your brush for a minute to soak in the liquid and then you can start swiping the hairs on a clean towel. You'll then see the colour from the make up go onto the towel and you'll be left with a clean, disinfected and conditioned brush, ready for the next use.
This product is designed to clean your brushes on a regular basis, to prolong its life and help disinfect, to prevent infections and the spreading of bacteria. This product is good for surface cleaning your brushes every time after you use them. It does make the brushes dry really quickly and conditions the hairs, leaving them soft and as good as new.
I highly recommend this brush cleaner, especially if you've invested in some MAC brushes and want to keep them in excellent condition for as long as possible. I find that a little goes a long way with this product and you don't need to use all that much. I've had mine for months now and still have loads left. It's just a must to keep your valuable make up brushes in pristine condition.
