MAC cosmetics is a line of cosmetics aimed at women. This company is famous world wide and is what many professionals use. They might not have the purest ingredients but all of their products are designed to be of great performance. I absolutely love pure eye shadow mineral pigments ( not the ones from MAC though) and having a brush who can deal with minerals is an absolute must. The thought of paying £16 for an eyeshadow brush 10 years ago made me sick. But 10 years on i am still using that brush and its as good as the day i bought it. Whats it made of? The handle is made of wood. The ferrule (metal bit) is made of nickle plated brass and the hairs are natural not synthetic Whats it for? The brush is primarily an eyeshadow brush. It has a rounded end that really helps with blending and the dense bristles help you pack colour into the eyelid. Where can i buy? I bought mine from selfridges at a Mac counter. The MAC #239 eye shader is probably the brush that MAC will recommend if you ask for a basic, eye shadow application brush. It is one of their best sellers that many people use, love and rave about. It is hand assembled using natural white goat hair (cruelty free I might add), and has soft yet densely packed bristles. The brush head measures about 10mm wide by 10mm high and has slightly tapered sides and a fluffed, rounded tip.
