My best friend really spoilt me this birthday and bought me lots of lovely pressies including a £50 MAC makeup gift card. Not one to really be a big wearer of makeup I went to the MAC store in London's Covent Garden and let one of the pro's get to work on me! He used a really lovely eyeliner on me to help define and exaggerate my eyes and to use this he used a MAC eyeliner brush which he then persuaded me to buy! Eek!

I bought the 210 Precise Eyeliner brush for £16 and although I think the price is a bit steep, I actually really like it and I have had fun experimenting with flicks and tips and practising doing my makeup in general!

The brush is really easy to use with an expertly pointed tip can to do an even straight line application across the eyelid and create an easy look around the corners of the eye. The brush is easy to hold in that it is thin like a pencil and comfortable to manoeuvre around detailing my eye. Having such an extremely fine tip the brush is good for drawing thin lines and more than apt to use in any powder, liquid or cream based eyeliner. Personally I only have a liquid eyeliner but the brush is easy to dab in the pot and apply to my eyes and depending on application (if you're heavy handed of course) it doesn't create a thick blotchy look but a very precise and professional appearance.

Overall, I really like this brush and for make up connoisseurs (unlike me) a good and handy eyeliner brush is a must and this one totally fits the bills. There are other varieties of eyeliner brushes like the 209 Eyeliner brush but it seemed a bit more chunkier for my taste, and as I am a bit of a minimalist when it comes to makeup having a thin amount of eyeliner on is more my kind of look and so the no.210 was a better choice. Their eyeliner brushes don't come in cheap but then again no MAC products are really so I suppose for a long lasting, name branded brush you get your money's worth!
