MAC make-up tends to appeal to the girl who wants to be a bit funky. I am not a great one for being pigeon-holed for marketing and so despite being decidedly unfunky and rarely wearing make-up, I have bought some MAC eyeshadow.

There are glittery shimmery bright colours and matt subtle velvety neutral tones. MAC do an extremely wide range of colours, so much so that I could actually match up the eye shadow with the colour top that I had bought. (Ok. I know sounds slightly OCD but I had just bought the top so had it on me, ok? STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT!)

I did not need any help with choosing, because I was matching it with a specific top but I noticed that another member of staff was helping someone with choosing a pallet and did seem to really know their stuff without coming across with too much hard sell.

Although they are quite expensive they do last a very long time. I have had mine a number of years. Fair enough I only wear it when I'm going out on special occasions but it hasn't gone off and smelly like some make-up products do.

They are £10 each, which I do think is extremely expensive but it lasts well. It also lasts well on the skin and doesn't come off towards the end of the evening like a lot of cheap eye shadows.

Summary: A good eye shadow that I would recommend.
