Along with Urban Decay, MAC eye shadows are my favourite eye shadows in the whole wide world!!! MAC has a wider range to choose from than most brands (including Urban Decay) and their shadows come in matte, veluxe pearl, satin and shimmer. I can't recommend these shadows enough as they are so versatile and vibrant, they would suit anyone. Anyone can use these, amateurs or make up artists alike, all you need are some good brushes and a bit of practice and you can create any look you want! The colours are so beautiful, the texture is very pigmented and easy to blend, it goes on like a dream! To make the shades more sheer, I use them on their own or over powdered lids. When I want a more vibrant look and better colour pay off, I use a paint base or Urban Decay Primer Potion. These shadows stay put all day (and even night) and don't crease at all when used with paint pots or UDPP.

I like to use a minimum of 4 colours from the MAC eye shadow range, to create a nice, multi-dimensional look. With the collections, you'll find that MAC puts 4 complementing shades together, so that it's easy to choose what colours would go well together, however, you can also create your own quads or even put a palette of 15 shadows together. These palettes can be bought in MAC pro stores. I love these shadows so much that I already own quad and pro palettes, though not all shadows within my palettes are MAC. I have actually de-potted all of my Urban decay eye shadows and as they fit into the MAC palette, have decided to keep them there. These palettes also make it easier to use the different colours as you won't need to look through each individual pot and you save a lot of space! It also helps me not to loose any of my eye shadows. As a reward for all the effort I have put in to transferring all my shadows into palettes, I've been able to trade the empty cases for lipsticks! I went to the MAC shop and for every 6 items you bring back to recycle, you get to chose a free lipstick! I've now got about 8 free lipsticks from the recycling program and that's one more reason why I LOVE MAC very, very much!!!
