The MAC eye shadows are my favourite ever eye shadows! This can be a bit of a pain as MAC has a really wide range of different colours to choose from there are a 148 different shades of eyeshadow on the MAC website. The eyeshadows come in sumptuous finishes such as matte, veluxe pearl, satin and shimmer. There are all different shades and tones of colour and some are very vibrant so it is easy to create a very eye catching look. The colours are represented well on the website, I have bought online and the shades do match well. Also due to the vast amount of colours it is easy to create any look you want! I would recommend (as with any make up) to buy good quality brushes, this makes MAC eyeshadow and the effect look even more gorgeous as the texture is very pigmented and easy to blend. Lots of professionals use MAC make up due to its quality and all MAC make up artists are professionally trained and true artists, they will give you advice and demonstrate which colours to use for which effects. The colour sheets they supply listing everything they have used on your makeover are fab aswell.

The MAC collection palettes also put four complementing colours together so it is an easy option to buy a palette and create a look using this. I find that using three or four colours also creates a great multi-dimensional look. Due to MAC's quality it is that little bit more expensive; at £10 for a 1.5g pot but the eyeshadows last for ages and my collection is slowly growing. MAC also offer recycling schemes such as for every 6 empty casings you take in you get a free lipstick. However, the eyeshadows seem to last for ever so I'm nowhere near a freebie yet. MAC is a great contempary make-up brand and I love these fun funky eyeshadows.
