MAC eye shadows are amazing! (MAC Eyeshadow)

I am a self confessed MAC addict and my favourite products by far are definitely the eye shadows!

What I love about MAC eye shadows is the fact that they are so highly pigmented. Unlike a lot of other brands, the colour you see in the pot is the colour you will see on your skin. If the eye shadow is hot pink in the pot then you can easily build it up to the same intensity on your eyelid with little to no effort.

One of the best things about MAC eye shadows is the sheer choice of colours available. They carry everything from the most neutral of tones to the more eye-popping bold colours! Whatever colour you are after I guarantee you will find one (or more!) to fit the bill. Not only do they have a wide variety of colours to choose from but they also have multiple textures available, so whether you want a flawless matte finish or something with a little more shimmer you will find the perfect shade for you.

While MAC has an amazing array of permanent eye shadows they are often bringing out new limited edition shades, giving you even more choice! Sometimes MAC even collaborates with other big named brands (examples - Playboy, Barbie, Alexander McQueen, Heatherette, Fafi & most recently Hello Kitty) to create these limited edition shades, which a lot of the time come in special decorative packaging, making them highly collectable and sure sell outs.

The eye shadows are available in two forms. You can either purchase a single shadow in the pot for £10 or you can buy the eye shadow in the silver pan for around £7.50, which you then pop into an empty palette (MAC sell these as either a 4 pan palette or a 15 pan palette). Unfortunately you can only buy the pan forms and palettes from free-standing and pro MAC stores, but it's a great idea if you own a lot of eye shadows, it makes them much easier to store and find. I keep mine colour coded in the palettes so I can easily pick out complimentary shades.

Another great thing about MAC is the Back2MAC recycling programme. When you finish 6 eye shadows (or any MAC product in original packaging) instead of throwing the empty pots away you can take them back to your nearest MAC store where they will recycle them for you. Not only that but they also give you a free lipstick of your choice in return!

Summary: I would reccomend MAC eye shadows to everyone!
