You can achieve light to medium coverage but if you prefer denser, more packed on colour than I wouldn't recommend this brush. Try the #239 instead which is similar shape, but much denser / less fluffy. Another great, all round brush from MAC. The #213 fluff is marketed to apply eyeshadow to the lid area and nothing else but I have found a few other uses, which I think if MAC were to state, they would sell a lot more. Although this is the brush that MAC regularly downsizes to include in it's holiday / limited edition palettes, it doesn't seem to be all that popular amongst the makeup users I know and it's a shame as it's a great brush. The #213 is a medium sized paddle with a very fluffy, rounded tip. It is very soft and is made from cruelty free pony hair.
