... does fit the Estee Lauder bottles. They are both owned by the Estee Lauder company, so maybe that is a reason for the compatibility.
The pump is made from hard, shiny black plastic. This does make it look a bit cheap and tacky, as my NARS pump (which is far too narrow for the Estee Lauder bottle) is matte and looks much nicer, but as I had finally found one which fit, I was not too bothered.

A lot of foundation bottles come with screw tops which just reveal an open bottle neck when you take them off, meaning you have to just freely pour the foundation out. I don't really like this, as I always find the amount that comes out is way more than I need to use for one application, so I end up wasting a lot of foundation or having to try and scrape some back into the bottle, which is a bit unhygenic. It is not good to keep exposing the liquid foundation to the air like that. My favourite foundation is Estee Lauder Double Wear and that comes in a glass bottle with screw top and no pump.
