Is there any more versatile product out there? I first brought this home from a holiday in america about 7 years ago and have not been parted from it since. I wear it on its own as a comfortable neutral lipstick and with mac lipglass. I also think it matches extremely well with MAC lipstick Fetish. I own about 9 lip liners, of which 5 are MAC. I have 2 Estee Lauder lip liners, 1 Biotherm and a Benefit. I prefer the MAC, as there are all the shades I require for all the lip colours I own and they go on smoothly and stay put. I also like these liners because they don't need to be sharpened and you simply need to twist them in and out like you would with a lipstick. I bought this product-the MAC lipliner in 'spice, about a year and a half ago, when there was so much hype about it. Basically, the secret of this pencils success is the fact that the colour looks natural, and seems to suit everybodys skintone. When you apply it, it just kind of disappears and merges, which means that you don't get that ovious lipliner effect. Another reason this is a good pencil is because of the texture of the 'lead', which is firm but glides on quite easily without scratching or making too fine a line. If there is a more versatile lip liner out there I have not been able to find it! My mum introduced me to this and I had been reading about it for years, in every magazine that has a feature on what Make Up artists cant do without, this product always seems to feature. I am specifically talking about the SPICE colour. Its neutral enough not to look like you have an awful line drawn around your lips but not so neutral that its wishy washy.
