Advantages: beautiful colours and finishes, doesn't bleed, clump or dry

Disadvantages: can't see the colour from outside of container but product is great!

I love MAC lipsticks! I fist discovered them about 4 years ago and haven't looked back since! I do still use other brands like Dior, Lancome, Clinique and Urban Decay, but when I want a nice, vibrant lippy that will stay put, I always go for my MAC!

I own about 30 odd MAC lipsticks and my shades vary from nude, to pinks, purples, reds and the odd blue. I love to experiment with different looks and MAC definitely helps me to achieve that! I often fall in love with their limited edition shades, but sadly for me they are limited edition and I either have to wait around for a relaunch or try and get it from Ebay or perhaps they pro stores.
The lipsticks are very smooth and apply nicely and evenly and feel very comfortable on the lips. They stay put as well and even when I don't use a lip liner, I don't have problems with them bleeding. The colours vary from sheer to very intense, depending on what finish you go for. The amplified cream's always give a beautiful vibrant colour effect and the sheer ones are still buildable. The lustre's are also very nice and don't appear too shimmery or glittery at all as some might think. They also go nicely with the lip glosses that MAC sells, or any other lip gloss really. I always keep a tube of the clear lip gloss handy as it adds a beautiful shine to the lipstick to give it some variation, or I even like to layer on a complimenting or different shade of lipglass to give it more depth and dimension.

I highly recommend these lipsticks as they are the most vibrant kinds on the market, if that is what you require. They don't feel sticky, drying or clumpy and they stay nice for hours and never bleed. The colour effects you can achieve with these are amazing and you can get these lipsticks free when you recycle 6 of your empty MAC containers!
