Advantages: 100% waterproof. doesn't come off unless you use a special oil-based remover

Disadvantages: thick, clumpy consistency that often makes application messy

Though it is true that this eyeliner lasts a very long time, and can withstand exposure to all the elements (only comes off with Boots Expert Sensitive Eye Make Up Remover pads), I cannot recommend it. It's extremely expensive (around £13), and its texture feels a bit dried up and clumpy, even if its brand new and unopened. The thick texture makes Eit very difficult to apply, and I personally prefer to draw just a thin line above the lashes of my top eyelid, so I need complete control over the eyeliner, and a runnier texture. Even the sales person at the Mac counter told me she has to apply a big dollop on her hand, and then mix and apply it using a different brush.

Luckily, i found a fantastic liquid eyeliner made by GOSH (£6.85 each, plus 3 for 2 offer on at superdrug), available in similar colours and even packaging as the Mac liquidlast. They have the ideal consistency, and they cost less than half of what the Mac ones cost!

Summary: an overpriced, poor quality product with many cheaper/better quality alternatives

I use Botanics eyemakeup remover it works really well. You can just use the edge of your usual face wipe instead of cotton wool - two birds with one stone.

Oh, I really think you have made a great start here. Love the personal aspect of it and its very discriptive. I will not rate it, but if you make some changes let me know and I am happy to rate favourably! No indication of price, what do you use to remove it? will it wash off with a face wash? Regards, Jo
