This brush was primarily invented for mascara application. You simply sweep it accross the mascara wand or dip it in the pot and sweep onto your eyelashes. The thin bristles mean it goes on evenly and you can avoid any clumps. This brush is also great for applying mascara to bottom lashes, as it only applies a thin layer it keeps the lashes looking natural. Be aware though this is quite a time consuming process and not practical for everyday unless you are willing to get up five minutes earlier. This is a strange looking little brush. As you can see from the photo above, it's a small serated fan shape and it looks more like a face / cheek brush than something you would use on your eyes in my opinion. I purchased this more out of curiosity than anything else and although it has its advantages, I definately wouldn't say it is a must have as I don't think the average many user would find it all that helpful. The #205 is hand assembled using the finest materials (just like any other MAC brush) and the bristles are made from firm, yet slightly flexible synthetic fibres.
