Advantages: Good performance

Disadvantages: none

MAC cosmetics has a range of brushes to compliment it's own line or make-up. With the help of their brushes an professional make-up can be easily achieved. Though before I used pure mineral eye shadow for my eyes a sponge applicator did the trick, when I switched to brands of organic, natural makeup I found make-up brushes do a better job. I must admit I am never faithful to one particular range of make-up or brush makers as I enjoy diversity and trying new things. So in my eternal quest in something new I thought I give it a try to MAC brushes also and I must say I am very delighted with their performance.

One thing I did not had in my brush collection was angled eye shadow brush. When I first sow the 275 brush on the MAC website I was intrigued by such a shape and I had to buy it. The brush is £17 and I did not knew I was going to like this brush or not so I was taking a bit of a risk. I am quite glad I got it now as I have found a multitude of uses for it.

Due to the angled shape this brush is very good for applying eye shadow across the lid and even highlighting the brow bone.
The brush feels soft and it will never scratch the delicate eye area.
If I could have a choice of only 3 eye brushes to live with for my make-up this would be one of them.

Ever since I got this brush it has not lost one single hair and I have been using it quite often. Every time I use my eye brushes I like to wash them after so you can see this brush has had quite some testing in my hands for the past year. The shape and softness has kept very well also and I am expecting it to last for a good amount of time by the looks of it, so for £17 is quite a good investment. Though I must say if I am using pressed eye shadow a good soft sponge applicator will also do. Best used with powder pigments in my opinion.

As with all MAC brush the best is to buy them from an authorised MAC counter or from their official website. There are many fakes out there coming from China.

Summary: a good brush
