I've been using MAC Pigment for about a year now, they are basically a loose colour powder that contains ingredients to help it adhere to the skin. I always use an eye primer before application of the Eye pigment. I usually buy my pigment from the MAC website where they retail at £15, they come in a 7.5g pot which lasts me about 6 ... It is products like this that really demonstrate why MAC has achieved the popularity it has within the makeup industry. I bought a pot of champagne coloured pigment for my wedding, to use as a base colour, and was still using it 12 months later. At £15 a pot it is not cheap but my goodness it was worth every penny! As I told my husband, it cost ... Read the complete review

When writing my top 10 beauty products recently, I was struggling towards the end and chose MAC pigments because they are such a versatile and high-quality product. Before I tried them out, I was under the impression that pigments were really just a way for the big dogs at MAC to make a quick buck, because they are pretty expensive. Now ... Pigments are one of MAC's most popular product. Available in a huge range of colours, textures and finishes they are a loose 'powder' suitable for a variety of uses. Firstly at £15.00 they are great value, the container is huge and will last the average user a VERY long time. I almost wish MAC made these in a smaller size, since I can ... Read the complete review

I have loved mac products for a couple of years now. MAC pigments have a cult status in the make up industry, and they are indeed very worthy of it. Mac Pigments are on the expensive end of the Mac range at £15, particularly their eye makeup range, but it really is worth every penny. I am a huge fan of Mac and this is a product that my make up bag would not be the same without. One product that is definitely worthy of their cult status, and perhaps even of their hefty price tag. If you have ever watched a make up tutorial on youtube, or admired the make up on a fashion shoot shown on television, or simply seen a photograph with stunning make up then the chances are that you have seen the work of MAC ...
