Advantages: Lasts ages, looks brilliant
Disadvantages: NONE!
As with all MAC products, this is the absolute market leader as far as I am concerned. I have tried A LOT of blushers, but as soon as I tried this a couple of weeks ago I knew this is the one I will use for a very, very long time. It is quite frankly amazing.
It goes on smoothly, and does not streak. It gives a very clear colour and it lasts all day without even fading. It is absolutely fantastic. I bought this to replace the Benefit Coralista I used for a few days and hated because it faded so quickly, and my goodness the difference is stark. It never needs to be topped up throughout the day, I apply it in the morning and it looks as vibrant in the evening as it did first thing. It is marketed as being highly pigmented and long-lasting and I can certainly vouch for that being the absolute truth.
The only possible criticism I could even remotely think of is that, unlike most power blushers, it does not come with a brush. However I don't think this is a bad thing, as I know nobody who actually uses the thin little blusher brushes that come with most blushers anyway so for me it is completely irrelevant.
It is a matt colour so it has no shimmer at all. If I am going out on a night time I use some Coralista underneath to give a shimmer but if I am honest I only do this to find a use for the product I wasted £22.50 on!
This product comes in a wide range of colours so you are guaranteed to find the shade you're looking for too.
It costs just under £15 and is available online (on the MAC website) and at MAC counters - the one I go to is in Fenwick.
Summary: If you're looking for a blusher this is the one to choose!
