I have been using mineral foundation and concealer for a while, but didn't find it as amazing as everyone else had been saying. So, I decided to splurge on some MAC basic products - a concealer, foundation and powder, hoping to find they made me feel much more confident about my skin and ensure me that they were worth the money! In this review I shall be analysing the select cover-up concealer... Once I had decided to go for MAC, I did thorough research so that my money wasn't wasted - I looked on the internet and spoke online with a MAC artist. The live help MAC offers is very useful because if you do not live near a store you can get thorough and informative ... Read the complete review

Women end up trying mass amounts of different foundations, powders, and concealers. Once they find something they like, they eventually stop liking it after a certain point. I'm not sure why that is? I used to be in love with some Clinque foundation until I noticed my skin had changed with it. So much for being in love with something. I guess a girls love of makeup is a lot like love/infatuation in real life. We go through life thinking we simply adore something until things change, and we need to move on. I've moved on from so many different *loves* it's too many to count. Some people may call this being wishy washy or fairweather.....mmm and ok they might ... Read the complete review

The MAC Sales Assistant recommended me this product after I asked her which of their concealers would work best for my dark undereye circles. Having tried a lot of other concealers in the past I was sceptical that this would perform any better but decided to try it out regardless - you never know! Described as 'liquid camoflage for the skin' it is said to 'brighten and lighten dark areas, erase spots and even out skintone.' It is available in 11 shades - from the palest porcelain (NW15) to deep caramel (NC50) and chocolate tones. (NW50) With such vast amounts of shades to choose from it is easy to find one that will work for you - wether you want an ... Read the complete review

Having used MAC eyeshadow and lipsticks for several years I decided on a splurge at Manchester Airports Duty Free to purchase the concealer to go along with my new MAC foundations. I have to admit I am a brand junkie, with the majority of my make up produsts coming from MAC, Benefit, Chanel, Lancome, Clinique... you get the point. My main reason for this is that from experience I find that you pay for what you get. If I ever feel that Im hammering my credit card too much and should settle for a cheaper brand I always use it for a day and then throw it to the bottom of my over expanding comsetics bag, this is because once you have used quality products, the ... I am a big fan of Mac products, and my make-up bag is full of their fantastic eye shadows, foundations, pencils and brushes, so thought I would give the concealer a go. I didn't ask for a sample at the counter or to try it first, I just trusted that it would be good, asked the assistant for the correct colour for me (which she got spot-on straight away) and made my purchase. Overall I am pretty pleased with the concealer, and it is excellent at covering any blemishes. However I do not find the coverage sufficient enough for my dark eye circles following a late night or bad night sleep. The product does give some coverage, and only a really tiny ...
