Advantages: Covers all flaws even the hard to cover ones, isn't expensive, lasts a long time

Disadvantages: Isn't that easy to find here in the UK, needs to be bought online or a store found at a local mall

Women end up trying mass amounts of different foundations, powders, and concealers. Once they find something they like, they eventually stop liking it after a certain point. I'm not sure why that is? I used to be in love with some Clinque foundation until I noticed my skin had changed with it. So much for being in love with something.

I guess a girls love of makeup is a lot like love/infatuation in real life. We go through life thinking we simply adore something until things change, and we need to move on. I've moved on from so many different *loves* it's too many to count. Some people may call this being wishy washy or fairweather.....mmm and ok they might be right.

In one aspect of my make-up life though, I am most certainly NOT little miss "Comme Ci Comme Ca". That's with this concealer by MAC. I'm not sure what chemist designed it but if I ever met him, i'd kiss him full on the mouth. This to me is the "wonder" cover and the closest thing to make-up magic i've ever seen.

I don't want to sound exagerative here. Everyone always goes over the top it seems, when they're writing about a product they happen to love or, at least "like a lot". I am being perfectly serious though when I say, this stuff is beyond good. It's at that next level of great where you feel so happy you found it , you let friends try some, then get a little possessive when they use too much.

I'm not one of those "MAC" junkies like I know a lot of women are. They buy MAC lipstick, MAC Eyeshadow, MAC Powder, MAC mascara, MAC face wipes, MAC lotion, MAC MAC MAC. They usually are uber obsessed with this Brandname. In some ways though, I can understand the obsession. After being introduced to the different pigment colors of MAC, I found my fave eyeshadow. Then, this little *Gem* of a concealer. So, suffice to say, I will be checking out more MAC cosmetics as my current cosmetics supply starts to dwindle. (Which you haven't seen my containers of make-up....Unfortunately, they're not dwindling as fast as I would have hoped...I can practically open up my own Boots Store).

***** Why this Concealer Can Make You Happy*****

Ever get up one morning and find you have a spot on your face that was NOT there last night? Yeah , most annoying thing in the world right? Your thinking to yourself " Huh? I washed my face last night! How did I get a spot???" Regadless of how it happened, you got it and now you have to *cover* it up.

So you run into your bathroom, since well you woke up late and you only have 5 minutes to not only brush your teeth and do something with your mess of hair, but also put your make-up on (Since you've had 20 almost accidents in the car realizing maybe your car isn't the best place to put your make-up on in, and I don't think the other people on the roads like it much either=)

So really, you only have about 2 minutes to do make-up. 120 seconds. That's pretty much just a swipe of powder on your cheeks, a quick brush of some neutral eyeshadow, your fave eyeliner, and mascara. Even doing that is cutting it close. Unless your concealer took you seconds to put on and rub in, and cover every little skin flaw you have.

Which believe it or not, this stuff does. If I go SLOW it still takes me about a minute to cover any flaws I have. And believe me , I have quite a few....a scar on my chin from scraping it while rock climbing.....a birthmark on my forehead.....undereye circles.....and, the occasional blemish. Every little thing you have this covers and covers perfectly. No one can ever see any flaws on my skin and I get so many compliments on how smooth it looks.

If you can cover every little flaw, have creamy looking smooth young skin, and get compliments....how can that not make you happy?

*****Does this stuff ever get used up??*****

The tube of this cover-up isn't that big. As a matter of fact, after you buy it, you might say "Ok, i'm going to go through this pretty quickly". What you'll find out though, is just the opposite.

I've bought this 4hree times now and have been using it for almost three years. I use it almost every day. That should tell you how long it lasts. I think the reason is because a little goes a LOOOOONNNNNG way. You only need to dab your spots and flaws with it.

If you use it sparingly, you'll get almost a full year out of this stuff. I don't know anyone that can go even half a year on the same concealer!

*****So Just How Much Are You Mmmm?*****

$14.00 (I used to buy it in the states, but I just found it in the UK for around 10 Pounds on Ebay).......Or at least that's what i've always paid for it. MAC stuff isn't normally "cheap" but it's not really expensive either. This stuff is around the same price as most of the same in Clinque or Lancome and works 10 times better. So, it's NOT going to break the bank.

Like i said, you can get this on Ebay or at a MAC store which is usually at various department stores. You might want to go online and see what locations are near you.

*****In Conclusion*****

This concealer is everything it needs to be it;

1.) Covers fantastically
2.) Is reasonably priced
3.) Has a long shelf life
4.) Very compact and can be taken on the go
5.) Doesn't break you out or make your skin dry

I think anyone using this would be extremely satisfied with it's performance. If your not,....then...i'll buy it off of you. =)
