Mac Select SPF 15 Foundation

Finding the perfect foundation - or, sometimes, even a halfway decent foundation for that matter - can be a real challenge. There are so many things to consider; matching your skin colour, finding the right consistency, the right coverage, not to mention how it affects the state of your skin (oily foundation on oily skin generally being a big no-no). I have extremely fair skin which means that it is very difficult to find the right foundation. When I went to MAC I was impressed by the fact that they have so many different shades. I decided to buy this product to treat myself to a really good foundation. I purchased it from selfridges with help from the lady at the MAC counter. I explained i wanted something easy to apply and would make my skin look as close to flawless as possible but not too made up, i thought if anything could do this it would be MAC. In the past Ive always used Virgin vie/ Vie foundation but in recent months they decided to discontinue the foundation which I had been using so I found myself back to square one for the search for a reliable foundation. "Select SPF 15" was the first of MAC's foundation that I tried. It promised medium coverage with a fresh, semi-matte finish. Upon first application, I was pleased. I had a great colour match (Not surprising really, since MAC have such an extensive range of foundation shades, though perhaps not the for the palest, most cool toned of us...) that I can rarely achieve with other brands.
