Finding the right foundation can be a challenge, it certainly was for me anyway. For years I had been in the middle of a balancing act battling acne prone skin which would break out when oily and then get dry and irritated if I tried to use most Clearasil type face washes. It took a long time to sort out my skin, with help from my mum ... Read the complete review

At £19.50 for 30ml, Mac Select foundation is not the cheapest on the market, and is more than I would normally spend. However I decided to buy this product after a make up artist used it on me and I was impressed with the results. Also I have very pale skin and this range is one of the few foundations I have found that has a shade to ... Read the complete review

I have used several other of Macs foundations and this is by far the best. The first foundation I tried made me look too shiny and the next seemed too thick and I felt too made up. The Select foundation is matched perfectly to my skin and covers really well. It is quiet runny and this took a little bit to get used to but apart from that ... Read the complete review

Mac Foundation - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! It started off looking great but eventually rubs off and makes your face look like it's melting also, i used to have perfect skin until i invested in this foundation and it made me break out like crazy! I'm currently going doc's about my problem.I should have stuck to my original max factor foundation because this one was very bad! i wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I have used MAC Select foundation now for over two years and i must say that it is one of the best foundations i have ever worn. It is perfectly suited to my skin and is the only foundation that really covers all of the blemishes on my face. If I use it with other MAC products such as the Mineralize Skin Finish powder foundation it works ... Read the complete review

I bought this Mac foundation for £19 in August. It is definately worth the money! It is a water-based liquid foundation and non oily. Really easy to use and looks really natural on your face. Blends in well with your skin tone and gives great coverage! Doesnt make your face look orange. Comes in a small glass bottle but last absolutely ... Read the complete review

In the past Ive always used Virgin vie/ Vie foundation but in recent months they decided to discontinue the foundation which I had been using so I found myself back to square one for the search for a reliable foundation. I have very fair skin so when I had a voucher for a free make up consultation at MAC I was very impressed by the range of colours, textures and applications you had for foundation. ALthough ym skin changes colour dramaticall from winter to summer, I have foundation to match both colours. The MAC no. 2 I use in the winter. The ... Read the complete review

This is my favourite foundation of them all and is well worth the money. I have very fair skin so its difficult to fin a foundation that doesn't give that orange tinge. I usually buy this from Harvey Nichols in Leeds and the girls on the MAC counter are always helpful and are happy to discuss the best product for you including coverage ... Read the complete review

I have tried most products on the market, im a self confessed make up junkie and I love "big" brands. I really like Mac makeup and brushes in particular. But try as I might I cannot make my mind up about this product. Mac Ladies work very hard with their customers to ensure they match the colour of your skin to a ... Read the complete review

Writing a review for a MAC product when I am such a MAC lover is going to be fun no matter what! I've always heard bad things about MAC's foundation, but on a whim I decided to splash out for a more expensive foundation. I visited a counter in London and got to try out the foundation before purchasing. You can get ... Read the complete review

I love this so much, i use it as my everyday foundation and i set it with a Mineralised Skin Finish in Natural! I use the colour NW25, which is just perfect for me! It's so light and does not feel as if i am even wearing any foundation! It is available in 21 different shades, with both NW an NC shades (meaning Warm ... Read the complete review

"Select SPF 15" was the first of MAC's foundation that I tried. It promised medium coverage with a fresh, semi-matte finish. Upon first application, I was pleased. I had a great colour match (Not surprising really, since MAC have such an extensive range of foundation shades, though perhaps not the for the ... Read the complete review

This was actually one of my first ever MAC foundations. The first ever one is a type of liquid foundation that they no longer produce and I can't think what it's called... Well ever since i have tried MAC make-up in general it has been my number one choice. I have also tried dream matte foundation and foundation from fashion fair, and neither do what mac does for my skin. By far the best foundation i've tried. It's like a second skin and it lasts for hours. Worth every penny. And yes, it does come with a pump, but unfortunately you have to pay extra for it.

I bought this foundation after reading good things about it in magazines and on the internet. It's very expensive at £18 for a 30ml bottle, but I thought MAC is a well respected quality brand, so I figured it would be worth it. It comes in a little glass bottle with a screw on lid. There's no pump action top or anything, you ... Read the complete review
