Advantages: great eyeshadow

Disadvantages: expensive

Mac is a brand that I have come to rely on and it is a great quality range which has something to suit everyone. It is not the cheapest brand but the quality is really worth it and you need minimal amounts of the product so it lasts a lot longer than other products.

Mac Shadestick is a pencil type product that is used as a creamy eyeshadow, which leaves your eyelid smooth and silky, but at the same time can also be used as a liner so you have two products for the price of one. It glides on easily and as it is blended leaves a great shine to the shadow. You do not need to apply a lot of this product unlike similar products they need to have a lot applied to make it visible. Also look great if you are going for an eyeliner as it glides on easily and comes in some great colours.

I find this product easier to apply the a eyeshadow powder as you can run the pencil over the part of the eye lid that you want it on, so you have more control and then just have to blend it in. It also is long lasting and it lasts all day which is what I need out of an eyeshadow as I do not have to keep reapplying.

It comes in a range of colours Sea me, Shark skin, Fresh Cement, Shimmer Sand, Pink Couture and Gentle Lentil are a few of the choices that are in the range.

It retails at £12.00 if purchased from MAC, you may be lucky enough to find it on another website, but there are not many Mac distributors. I love this product, although I also love the pigment as an eyeshadow so I am spoilt for choice on eye colour products when it comes to Mac.

The only disadvantage is that the Shadestick does not come in the widest range of colours online so you are limited to the colours available and a few of them are quite similar in shade, better off visiting the shop.
