I received this brush as a gift a year or so ago and I am very pleased I did as although it has many different uses and has become a firm favourite of mine, I doubt I would have purchased it myself as it doesn't appear all that useful at first glance. I have plenty of other similar shaped brushes so I thought I could give this one a miss, but the flat, synthetic bristles lend themselves to many, many uses making the #231 Small Shader a great brush to own in my opinion!
