Since I've returned to University there never seems to be enough time in the day to get everything done, I seem to be jugging housework and University work until about midnight most nights in an attempt to get everything done. As such the effects are starting to show and unfortunately they're showing most on my face, especially in the form of dark circles under my eyes. I had been using a Clinique concealer specifically for eyes but last week I noticed it wasn't really doing that great of a job so I decided to invest in something else. After reading about a Mac concealer product on the internet I decided to investigate it a bit further, I've never actually bought ... Read the complete review

I wrote a review the other day about the studio fix foundation that I bought from MAC. I also mentioned in that review that I also bought a concealer, which was the MAC studion finish concealer. When I went to the MAC store in Westfield shopping centre I was originally just looking for a foundation but when the consultant mentioned a concealer I thought it would be worth a try. I don't have the best skin and am always trying to find ways to hide my inperfections. As well as spots, which apprently I am not growing out of , I quite often have dark circles under my eyes. I do try and get enough sleep and drink water etc but still get these inperfections. ... Read the complete review

Before I discovered this product I absolutely swore by Estee Lauder Disappear, which was my concealor of choice for many years. I raved about it and recommended it to anyone who would listen. However, I used MAC for every other product and one day was talked into trying the concealor alongside my Studio Fix Fluid Foundation by one of the MAC girls. I have never looked back since. Forget the previous Estee Lauder recommendations, it does not even come in the same league as this stuff. Studio finish is absolutely magic - it covers even the most unsightly blemishes with no effort at all, and still never looks caked on! It covers subtley - it is the only product I have EVER ... This is one of MAC's thicker concealers, it's currently being sold at MAC for £10.00 and comes in 15 different shades. What I like about this MAC concealer, is that it covers up really well, a tiny amount gives good opaque coverage and is water resistant too. There's an SPF 15 in this product, so will also help protect against skin damage and when used with their other SPF15 foundations, will protect the whole face and not just the spots with concealer on. This product comes in a little black jar with a clear top (so it's easier to see what shade you're picking up). You can apply this with either fingers or a foundation brush and I also find that if ... Read the complete review

I have tried all of MAC's current concealers and this is probably my second favourite, coming a close second to "Select Cover Up." It comes in a small pot and has a much thicker, creamier texture than Select, and therefore readily lends itself to much more effective spot concealing. Applying a small amount to the pimple with a concealer brush and blending outwards/downwards before setting with a tiny amount of face powder will ensure your blemishes stay covered ALL day. It also works very well under the eye, especially for those of you who have darker, more pronouced dark circles under the eye. However, due to it's thick texture it can be ...
