Great for concealing spots. A little more tricky for dark shadows, but worth it :-) (MAC Studio Finish Concealer)

Advantages: Lasts forever, Great coverage, Huge range of shades.

Disadvantages: Thick, dry-ish texture that can look cakey.

I have tried all of MAC's current concealers and this is probably my second favourite, coming a close second to "Select Cover Up."

It comes in a small pot and has a much thicker, creamier texture than Select, and therefore readily lends itself to much more effective spot concealing. Applying a small amount to the pimple with a concealer brush and blending outwards/downwards before setting with a tiny amount of face powder will ensure your blemishes stay covered ALL day.

It also works very well under the eye, especially for those of you who have darker, more pronouced dark circles under the eye. However, due to it's thick texture it can be quite tricky to blend on this delicate area without dragging the skin. I find it is easier to apply / blend if you warm it up a little before use, either for a very short while on a radiator, or simply between your hands :-)
It can also sit in fine lines and look a little heavy on more 'mature' skin if not blended perfectly - I recommend using a flat paddle brush or small foundation brush to apply this in short, downwards strokes.

Studio Finish is available in a wide range of shades and it lasts a very long time. If you need to conceal spots and undereye shadows I would recommend this. But if you only have problems with dark circles, consider trying the Select Cover Up first in my opinion :-)

Summary: Will continue to repurchase for spot concealing only - It really is that good!
