Advantages: Amazing. Cannot fault it.

Disadvantages: A tad pricey.

MAC Studio Fix fluid is simply the best foundation I have ever used.

The foundation gives great coverage without looking 'caked' on.

If you purchase from a MAC counter on of the girls will match the right shade to your skin. Perfectly matching makeup looks like no makeup, which is what we all intend it to look like, right? Personally, I have extremely fair skin and even the lightest shade of Rimmel foundation looks orange on me. I literally have to blend it all down my neck and if wearing a low top, my chest. Then my arms dont match :( This is great for the pale and proud!

Crucially, this foundation does not 'slip off'. I have been to raves and gigs in this makeup and come out with it still on. I've never known a foundation with such a staying power! It does, however, come off nicely with makeup wipes.

Oil free and leaves your skin feeling really healthy. I have been wearing this since my greasy-skin years in my teens and it worked wonders. Most makeup made it worse but this was a godsend!

Contains SPF 15 for the safety cautious/ sun dodgers (I am of the latter...)

MAC Studio Fix fluid is a bit pricey BUT it is quite thin in consistency and a little goes a long way. You will be surprised how long a bottle will last you.

Warning! This foundation comes in a highly smashable glass bottle! I discovered this sadly. Took a while to get the makeup off the bathroom floor tiles. Felt a bit silly. Also, there was about half a bottle left which could not be salvaged. Bear this in mind. Look after it. You don't want to see a tenners worth of foundation smeared all over the floor!!!

Summary: Pricey but worth every penny in my mind,
