Advantages: Fantastic even coverage, shades to match all skintones, non-greasy

Disadvantages: The only one i can think of is that it is a little pricey

I have tried many different foundations in my time but I must say that Mac Studio FIx Fluid is the best foundation I have ever used! I am quite pale so usually struggle to find a foundation that looks natural on me however this one is perfect.

I was initially very reluctant to pay the £19 for what looked like a very small bottle, it took a friend of mine to convince me to try it. The women that work at the Mac counter are usually very friendly and able to advise what shade would suit you. I was told I needed an NC15 which I think is the palest colour that they do, but I don't mind if anyone wants to correct me on this! I was also advised to use the 187 duo fibre brush to apply the foundation.

After testing out the foundation I was completely won-over. It provides excellent coverege and as their 'blurb' states it is buildable. It perfectly matched my skin tone and covered dark circles and blemishes etc. I experimented with the 187 brush to apply and also used my fingers and found that the brush did make a huge difference and made my complexion much more even than when I used my fingers. It is a non-greasy foundation and is also oil free, it is the first foundation I have ever used that has not given me a breakout.

I have not used another brand of foundation since my 'discovery' of Mac Studio Fix Fluid so that shows just how happy I am with it as it is not in my nature to stick to one product. It does have a high price-tag but as my mother says ''you get what you pay for''. I use the foundation once a day and find that a bottle lasts me for about three months which I find to be quite reasonable. With other products I used to have to re-apply the foundation after work if I was going out, however this one lasts and looks almost as good as when it was first applied.
