Advantages: Use it with a brush or a sponge to vary the coverage or over tinted foundation to finish off

Disadvantages: Um... none. I suppose it would be nice if it was cheaper!

I'm a make up junkie. There, I've admitted it. Honestly I'll try anything once. Except foundation, because there is no need to look any further. Studio Fix is absolutely the best foundation I've ever used.

I think what I appreciate most is how versatile it is. If I'm having a "good skin day" I put it on with a brush and it gives thorough but light coverage and evens out any uneven areas. If my skin is particularly patchy for whatever reason, putting it on with a sponge gives heavier coverage. I've also become quite fond of using it over a tinted moisturiser which also makes the coverage heavier and the finish flawless.

I have pretty dark under eye circles, but even if my concealer is struggling to cover them, if I finish it with Studio Fix they're gone. Someone at work the other day even questioned me when I said I had dark circles - she didn't believe me!

It's also very easy to find a good match since it comes in a lot of shades - though beware the MAC counter trying to talk you into getting one that's too dark - I stick with one that on the surface looks as though it would be too light for me, but I prefer not to look too made up - Studio Fix is better for a more natural but even finish than a heavier look.

Summary: Simply the only foundation I would ever bother with
