I have recently been trying different make up items from the MUA (Make Up Academy) range now available in Superdrug, I have been trying products such as the pressed powder, mascara and eye liner. Recently when I purchased a couple of items from this range I noticed that when you bought anything from the MUA range you got a free lip gloss, I hadn't yet tried the lip gloss in this range so was keen to give it a go, especially if it was as good as the other MUA products I had tried. The MUA Lip Gloss comes in a clear squeezy plastic tube which is slightly wider towards one end, the clear plastic allows you to see the colour of the lip gloss inside. On the from ... I love beauty bargains and Make Up Academy by Superdrug sure is budget make up at its finest. I first came across this range a few months back now and I'm really glad I did. Make Up Academy - Lip Gloss Tube Two: "High shine gloss in a tube for on the go glamour - Make Up Academy provides trend shades on a budget, allowing you to achieve the latest looks without breaking the bank!" My Findings: Well as this one was of the first items I purchased from the MUA range at the time I didn't really hold much hope, it was one of the them "oh well its only a £1 will give it a go" moments. There are various other shades but I felt this was the one most suited to my skin tone and to just give a glimmer look which would nicely enhance the look of my lips as I am always conscious of them looking like I have slapped a tub of grease on them! I also think they generally are quite big so never really wish to draw too much attention to them as a key ... Read the complete review

When Superdrug brought out their £1.00 range of make-up last year, I went a bit crazy and bought pretty much every different product! While I love a majority of the products, the squeezy lip glosses are one of the products that I am not overlly keen on. The lip gloss is available in quite a few different colours ranging from clear to red. I have two clear ones (shade 1) and one sheer light pink one (shade 4). Both colours are high shine. The lip gloss retails at just £1.00 and Superdrug often have it on offer (eg 3 for 2) as well, so this is a great value for money product and a cheaper and just as effective alternative to Barry M/Rimmell etc ...
