Not make believe..it's real! (Makebelieve Bronzing Palette)

I am a gal that loves make up! When I saw this brush on bronzer (usual price £10.00) reduced to £2.50 in my local Boots I had to give it a go as I was like lamb to the slaughter! I didn't know how much if a saving I was making but I was very aware of the brand of Makebelieve who are rather quickly really making a mark for themselves in fake tanning and make-up bronzing products!

Now I've never been keen on bronzer. Being a really paled skin gal with jet black (dyed) hair I find I'm ok with a dabble of a peachy/pink blusher but I'm rather limited on the colours I can use. I have tried loads of bronzers over the years to get that gorgeous skin kissed glow that so many of you ladies seem to achieve but for me it's never really worked so even as I purchased this I did wonder if I may as well get me money and throw it down the drain!

The Packaging....

Square see-through robust plastic case with black writing on the front telling us it's 'MakeBelieve' and there is like a drawn on tattoo picture on there that is decorative. On the underneath of the case there is a silver label and on that ingredients are listed, I'm told the product is made in China, contact details for Makebelieve Ltd are given, size is stated and finally there is bar-code on there. I really like being able to see the colour through the compact and I like the fact it easily flips open to get to the colour and is a robust none scratching case. It's also a handy size to take out and about with you if you want to and still, there's plenty of product in it.

The Bronzer Itself....

Well flip the case open and your greeted with 9 smallish blocks of joined colours, all the same size and with no fragrance to any of them. What you have is 3 rows of 3 and the colours are all slightly different. So you have a couple of peachy tones, light browns, a highlighter sort of colour (shimmery white) and a darker brown in there.

To use it you gently sweep over the whole set of colours on a large brush and apply it where you want to. Now I mainly use this as a face bronzer and when I say it's amazing I truly mean it. none of the colours are harsh, they all blend well together and add a totally natural with a slight shimmer to my face! As I say this is none fake looking and contains no hard orangy colours and takes virtually no blending at all you literally sort of sweep and go after applying this. If you want more colour on your face just add more, it's really not rocket science! It's easy and fuss free to apply, is comfortable to wear and looks real quality and class. I seriously rate this product incredibly highly and it's not often I really rave about something!

Also you can use this product as eyeshadow if you wish to. Use one colour or dib dab them all again, the colours on eyes are just as hard wearing as on any other part of the body and of course are shimmery and none creasing there too. The colour is velvety smooth and none irritating and again really easy to apply and the range of colours is great for that because as I stated earlier there is a dark brown block and a white block and colours in between to create really smoky eyes if you want to!

I have a mate who owns this and she also uses hers on her lips in an emergency and again after hearing that I tried it and it doesn't stay on long being a dry powder but when on the lips it feels great, doesn't taste and looks really smooth and subtle!

Overall....

If you want a high quality multi tasking bronzer this is for you! The colours are amazing, the look is superb and I simply love it. Long lasting when applied, it's none smudging or transferable and stays looking fresh and natural until you remove it (which once again is simple to do with you normal make-up removing routine!). I also like the fact that even if using the colour as a whole once used all you do is simply blow the block of colour gently and it becomes fresh and vibrant looking again and the colours don't look dirty or mixed up but still fresh and bright!

This is now a must have product of mine and I shall repurchase it again because I really do use it daily! It's wonderful!

Summary: Pure genius!
