I've never done it but apparently you wake up with super soft hands. 2) Buffing cream. This is suppose to be applied over the cream in step one. I would suggest that you have the lid open to this cream when you first start the process because you end with grease everywhere else. This cream is like an exfoliator and gets rid of any de...more

Premium Review Mary Kay Satin Hands: Brillient on dry hands. (575 words)

Nearly five years a go I held a Mary Kay party. A lady came to my house and did a demonstration on myself and my bridesmaids and at the end of the party some of my friends brought some products; a bit like a Virgin Vie party. Because I was the person hosting the party I got a free gift at the end depending on how much my mates spent. I ended up with quite a lot of money and chose this hand care set. I used it religiously for a while then forgot all about until recently. The creams are a four step set and are suppose to really nourish and moisturize dry hands. It goes as follows: 1) Extra Emollient Night Cream. This cream is quite thick and it's ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Hands of Satin Perfection (433 words)

This product is a skin saver for your hands year round, but especially in the dry winter months. I have used the satin hands set by Mary Kay for years now and have never been disappointed. The 4 step set is like my secret weapon for soft, smooth hands of satiny perfection. I use this set a couple of times a week, and even more in the winter. It is definitely helpful for dry, cracked and rough skin on the hands. The first step is the Extra Emollient Night Cream which is a thick, extremely greasy formulation but is very absorbent and gives hands a great moisture barrier against dryness and roughness. You rub this into your hands and leave it on while ...  Read the complete review

Rating:

Mary Kay's Satin Hands is the best thing I have ever used on my hands. It is 4 steps, but can be done in 2 minutes, and is worth the effort. The first step is massaging the Extra Emollient night cream into the hands. This is very greasy - but penetrates and softens so well. Step two is rubbing the body buffing cream over the night cream. This buffs away the rough areas of skin - acts as an exfoliator. On top of both of these, Step 3 adds the Cleansing gel. Add just a touch of water and this rinses everything away. You can feel how much softer your hands are at this point. The 4th step is using the hand cream. The hand cream ...  Read the complete review
