Advantages: East to apply, stays put, gives great results

Disadvantages: More expensive than some, not completely waterproof

To be honest I only bought this mascara because I wanted to get the free gift when you spent £15 on Max Factor in Boots so needed to buy a second item, but I'm really glad I did.

I bought this in black, and it cost £7.99. I have dark lashes anyway, but like them to look longer and thicker and this certainly does the job. I tend to apply two coats to my top lashes and one to my bottom lashes and find that this makes my lashes look great. The brush is a 'traditional' straight one, which I like. The mascara goes on easily and I have had no problems with it clumping or smudging. The one I bought doesn't claim to be waterproof (I'm not sure if you can get a waterproof version of it) but I've had no problems with it running or smudging, even when I've been out in light rain or my eyes have watered.
I wear contact lenses, and this mascara has not irritated my eyes at all.

Overall I like this mascara a lot- it gives good volume and definition to my lashes and it stays where it should. It terms if price it's mid-range- more expensive than your Maybelline types, but far less expensive than the Lancome Hypnose I was using (and pretty much as good as far as I'm concerned).

Summary: I like it a lot.
