Advantages: Natural colour
Disadvantages: Doesnt last long
After recently making a trip to my local shopping centre I decided I needed a new bronzer as my face was pale and ill looking. i have bought a few max factor products before and have always found them to be of a good quality and so when I spotted a bronzer they did I decided to purchase the product in the hope that this would be as good as the other products.
To me the actual packaging makes the product look slightly more old fashioned which is a shame as it is a good product which I believe younger people would like yet they may be put off it as it doesnt look very trendy. Its a navy blue pot with gold writing on, it has a picture of a sun yet it is in a sort of tribal design which I guess is to refelct the sun-kissed glow you are hoping to get from this product. The lid pulls of simply, however dont worry it stays on nice and firm so theres no chance it could fall off accidentley when its in your bag.
The powder itself looks very smooth and has a very nice colour to it as it looks like the colour you would be after spending a day in the sun. When using the powder I found it went on very smooth and was surprised to find it felt very light on the skin as sometimes powder can feel quite heavy and dry this however does neither. It also blends in niceley.
Once applied I have to admit that it gave the exact effect I wanted a very subtle glow which made me appear healtheir it also enhanced the natural tones in my skin which made it appear more of a natural colour rather then just pastering an orange colour all over my face.
This is a brilliant product the only drawback is that it doesnt last very long as after an hour my face was becoming pale again!
Summary: Good product

- 24/03/09 It isn't great that it started fading quickly..I don't have time to apply make up throughout the day at work so this wouldn't do for me at all. x |
