Advantages: Can give a fair layout onto skin
Disadvantages: the lightest colour is really dark
As every girl does, I have a wide variety of make-up, mostly consisting in eyeshadows, mascaras, foundation, lipgloss and eyeliner. Since I have been going out more with friends, I have been using bronzer because I am quite pale as it is, it gives me a bit of colour to my cheeks.
At first, I was using my friends' bronzers because I wasn't too sure if I wanted one, after a few weeks I was in boots and I came across Max Factor Bronzing Powder. I used it on my palm and was pleasantly surprised with the results so I payed £5.95 for a pot of it then payed £2.99 for a brush too.
The next day I was going out with my friends and I applied it to my face, I was not as surprised as I was the day before - it came out much darker than I anticipated, it was the lightest of the two shades too.
So, I thought it was a waste of money to be honest. But, I tried it once again and rubbed it in a lot more, it seemed to look better. I guess that would do for now, until I had enough money to buy some more!
The best thing about this, if it was the right shade and looked good on me, it took a while to come off which is always a bonus for make-up.
On application, the bronzer becomes a bit flakey and starts to come off and fall on your clothes if not applied with your full attention. I have found that if you blow softly on the brush, it gives you more of an even layer.
In conclusion, I would not recommend this product to anybody unless they had a rather tanned complextion. I will not buy or use this products again unless given as a present. I do have to say, for what you are getting the price is a little steep aswell.
Summary: This is not a product I will be buying again!
