Advantages: Perfection in foundation, it get's no better than this ladies!

Disadvantages: None

I've had a long running love affair with Max Factor! Don't know when and where it started but I'm mighty pleased that it did!

In my make up kit I've got plenty of Max Factor 'pieces' and I love them all, it really is a brand you can trust. There are some product's (not many) that I will purchase time and time again. Mainly I'm the type of woman that picks up whatever is a decent brand and going cheap or involved in some kind of offer, I'm not made of money! However this is the one thing that I will now buy time and time again because I know there's no problem at all with it.

I originally tried the colour adapt foundation a few years back. I was fed up like the majority of us buying foundation that looked ok in the shop but when we come out and applied it on an all important night out we looked like we have been tangoed! Or you use a foundation and halfway through the night I looked like it had slipped off my face, or skin was spotty the morning after and I lost count of all the foundations with 'problems' and I was wasting my money.

The lady in Boots suggested this one. Pick whichever you think you are and it blend it in . She was adamant that this was fool proof and you could be up to five times lighter or darker in which shade you picked for your skin and still, it would match!

Max Factor.... The History.....

In the 1920s and 1930s, the "golden years" of Hollywood, Max Factor became intimately associated with the world of movie make-up. He created the first makeup for the movies in 1914, and coined the term "makeup", based on the verb, "to make up" (one's face).
.
Max Factor is credited with many cosmetic innovations.

The Packaging....

It's a 30ml pump action see through plastic oval shaped bottle type thing with a clear push on plastic lid. Navy and white labeling as shown on the photo for at the top of this review.

What The Product Promises....

Colour Adapt Particles adapt to your individual skin tones to provide a flawless look that's perfectly beautiful and perfectly you....
Beautifully evens out skin tone and covers imperfections. Provides a flawless, undetectable finish. Gives you a silky smooth application experience. Oil free. Won't clog pores. Hypo Allergenic.

Overall....

This product is just amazing!!!! It comes out as a dense mousse, slightly whipped in texture and what I love about it is loads doesn't come out the bottle so you really are in control and it's not wasteful. It has a slight fresh make up smell as do most of the Max Factor products. You only need one pump which really is a small amount to cover the whole face so it really does last ages!

It goes on as a liquid and and once applied it transforms to powder and is so touchably soft and smooth. It does as promised. It really does cover up imperfections easily and I have a few small lines on my face and what impresses me the most is that this product goes a long way to making them invisible. A lovely thing about this product is you don't get 'tide marks' it really does as it says and blends into your own skin tone. Although I end up with a very polished look I don't look like I have foundation on as such!

I remember before finding this product one of my mums friends said I love the colour of foundation you have on! It soon hit the bin and I get no comments like that anymore! Thank the Lord lol

Your face doesn't feel clogged or gunky and it stays in place and doesn't transfer on to clothes and the such, I've lost count of the white tops I've destroyed over the years lol

Being Oil free and hypo Allergenic is perfect for me too as I do suffer hormonal spots an awful lot particularly round the time of the month and this doesn't aggravate it at all and if I do get any blemishes this does help hide them. Ive certainly noticed that after taking this of my skin feels soft and supple and nourished apposed to dry and tired! Its a pleasure to use and I actually enjoy the putting make up experience again safe in the knowledge that I have a foundation that is fantastic! It comes off easy with the use of your usual cleanser and toner or make up removing wipes.

I cant give you the hard sell on this enough! It really is a product that once you try I'm positive you would be as impressed as me and stop the search for perfection as you already own in. If I see a lady in Boots now looking at this foundation, my mouth runs away with me and I end up selling it (I should get commission from Boots!). Everyone I know, including my tight fisted mother now purchases this and she wouldn't be without it.

Its timeless and suitable for anyone, its fuss free make up at it's best, ladies you really must try it!
