Too heavy and perfumed (Max Factor Creme Puff)
Member Name: Paglatron
Advantages: Good coverage, inexpensive Disadvantages: Powdery and very strongly perfumed After reading glowing reviews of this product I was expecting great things, but was a little disappointed. The texture is very powdery, and I felt like as if it was drying out my skin - I felt conscious of a film of powder sitting on my skin, rather than blending nicely in. It definitely works best when used on bare skin, as it felt far too thick to be put over foundation. However, the coverage is good and there is a good range of colours so you should be able to find one to suit your skintone - I chose translucent (no 05) which worked well on my fair skin. The product has a very strong perfumed smell which I found to be a bit overwhelming as it lingers after you've applied it. Overall, good value at around £5 but I wasn't a fan of the heavy texture or the old fashioned fragrance. Summary: Not bad, but not what I expected |
