Hello there darlings,
Now as this is my first review, be sure to let me know if i've missed anything out, or if there's any extra information you need!

Purchase & Packaging.
I decided to give this 3 in 1 a try, as I was in need of all of these products and was drawn in by the promise of this simplicity! The packaging is attractive, with a good sized bottle, a black pump action top. The foundation does seem to get around the inside of the clear lid somewhat.

Price.
I paid £11.49 in Boots for the foundation, I consider Maxfactor to be one of the better "high street" make up brands, so this price seemed reasonable on purchase. At Boots 3 for 2 is often available on Maxfactor products.

Application.
Cleansed, toned and moisturised by face was ready and prepped for application, the foundation was slightly oily. This oiliness prevents the wearer from applying more than one coat as the second causes the first to rub of and separate with a streaky outcome. A single coat, over exfoliated skin, goes on rather smoothly and it is reasonably easy to apply effectively.

Look.
This foundation is just that, a foundation. My skin did not feel effectively prepped nor did it look as good as with primer and concealer. The 'concealer' element was slightly effective in covering small blemishes, but without the targeted application less though than a good concealer. The foundation offers medium coverage, which will work well on most people. I would consider it very shiny on the skin, but the bottle does not promise a powder! With a good translucent powder the foundation does look rather nice considering the lack of prep. There are a good range of colours.

Feel.
The foundation feels ever so slightly sticky, it is certainly not matte, the oily texture can feel heavy on the skin. I was very aware that I was wearing it but the application of powder did help.

Wearability.
On a normal day without excessive sweating, or heat, it holds up pretty well. After a day at work it slides off face somewhat, again because of the oiliness. Keep topping up on powder every few hours and it'll stay on OK. I have a slightly red complexion and this was only eased in the first couple of hours of wear.

Removal.
Removal after a day of wear was simple with a cleanser, or warm soapy water!

USE IF.
You're in a hurry for a quick make up fix. If you can get away with reapplying mid way, or powder every couple of hours. If you are 40+ with skin that is not oily it is very moisturising and works well skin that is dry or normal.

AVOID.
If you are in your teens or 20s, or have oily skin! If you are very particular about coverage, if you want light coverage and a barely there feel, don't even go there. If you have rough or heavily blemished skin I would avoid as it seems to not fill skin out and cover larger blemishes.

SUMMING UP.
MEDIUM COVERAGE- HEAVY- OILY- 7 HOUR STAYING-GOOD COLOUR RANGE.

Summary: OVER 40S WITHOUT OILY SKIN, THIS IS A GREAT OPTION FOR QUICK MAKE UP APPLICATION.
